Cultivating Excellence
Through Legal Advocacy

Our lawyers are trusted advocates for meaningful change. We are committed to taking cases that matter and representing individuals and causes that deserve a voice, accountability, and exceptional advocacy.

At Serino & Nocon LLP, we believe exceptional legal representation is built on preparation, credibility, and trust. Every case we take is approached with the understanding that our clients are often facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives — they therefore deserve attorneys who are not only skilled advocates, but steady counselors who will provide honest guidance every step of the way. Our philosophy is simple: results matter more than ego. We do not believe effective advocacy requires theatrics, chest pounding, or conflict for conflict’s sake. In our experience, the most persuasive lawyer in the courtroom is often the one who is the most prepared, the most credible, and the most reasonable. We believe strong advocacy comes from mastering the details, understanding the law, and earning the respect of judges, juries, and opposing counsel through professionalism and substance.

That approach does not mean we are unwilling to fight. To the contrary, we are fearless in representing individuals, families, and businesses against powerful institutions, insurance companies, corporations, and government entities. We are not intimidated by the size of an opponent, the number of attorneys on the other side, or the resources available to them. We prepare every case thoroughly and strategically, with the goal of positioning our clients for the strongest possible outcome — whether through negotiated resolution or trial.

At the core of our practice is a commitment to candor. We believe clients deserve straightforward advice, realistic expectations, and attorneys who will tell them what they need to hear, not simply what they want to hear. Trust is earned through honesty, transparency, and consistent communication, and we view that responsibility as central to our role as advocates.

Our firm also believes that effective lawyering requires judgment and perspective. While litigation can often be adversarial, we have found that meaningful resolutions are frequently achieved through professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to build bridges when appropriate. We reject needless posturing and gamesmanship in favor of thoughtful, solution-oriented advocacy focused on advancing our clients’ interests. Ultimately, our mission is to provide sophisticated, high-level legal representation with a personal, client-centered approach. We are committed to being accessible, prepared, and unwavering in our dedication to the people and businesses who place their trust in our firm.

Why the Nike
of Samothrace?

The Winged Victory of Samothrace, or Nike of Samothrace, is a second century BCE sculpture of the Greek goddess Nike, herself a symbol of victory. She is shown landing on a ship’s prow with open wings in a provocative sign of triumph with grace.  Artistically, the sculpture is considered a masterpiece from the pinnacle of the Hellenistic Era. For the firm, she is a reminder that even with struggle, victory may be had with poise, decency and grace.

While the firm’s co-founder, Natasha Serino, majored in quantitative economics in college, she took a side interest in art history. This piece is a favorite of hers. When she graduated from law school her father gifted her a bronze replica of the goddess, a reminder of the journey.

Notably, the sculpture was unearthed by the French diplomat Charles Champoiseau in Samothrace without her head, arms or feet, which were believed to be part of the original piece. The loss of her head and arms, however, is considered part of the goddess’ iconic stature and elevates her to a symbol of triumph and struggle. Rather than her face, the viewer is forced to focus the artist’s skill and the subject’s universal meaning. Despite being faceless, she evokes a powerful sense of emotion through the sculptor’s careful use of movement.  She is depicted with enigmatic grace despite being against the wind and whiplashed by water - a dramatic depiction of victory over chaos. At Serino & Nocon LLP we view this symbol as our standard for every case: to prevail with resilience, power and grace.
